In 2001 The Washington Research Library Consortium (WRLC) was awarded a grant from the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) under the 2001 National Leadership Grants for Libraries program. WRLC's Digital Collections Production Center (DCPC) was a collaborative facility that provided digital conversion services in a production environment for WRLC member universities. The DCPC provided staff and systems to manage digitizing projects, scan materials, and enter descriptive information developed in conjunction with library staff.

   Selected Images and Prints of The Catholic University of America (CUA)
This collection includes photographic collections from the American Catholic History Research Center and University Archives at the Catholic University of America (CUA)in Washington, DC. Included are images and prints of CUA's buildings and grounds, faculty, students, and University community from different periods of it's history. So far, this collection contains images from the 1890's and 1917-1921; additional images will be continually added to this collection.
   Brooks-Queen Family Collection
The Brooks - Queen Family Collection (1773-1979) documents the activities of members of two Washington families of the nineteenth century.
   Cardinal Yearbook Collection
The yearbook of The Catholic University of America (CUA), 1916-2011.
   Catholic Educational Exhibit, World's Columbian Exposition, Chicago
Consists of 50 photographs documenting the building, hall, and alcoves where Catholic educational institutions displayed objects and printed material from 1892-1893 during the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago, Illinois.

  Catholic Heroes of the World War Collection

         Contents of a scrapbook detailing the weekly newspaper column, 1928-1933, written by Daniel J. Ryan highlighting Catholics who had won medals of valor for service in WW I.

  Changing Spirituality of Emerging Adults Project Collection

Project studying emerging adults to provide religious leaders with information on how to better minister to this age group. It includes essays, commentaries, and case studies.
   Fenian Brotherhood Collection
A collection consisting of mostly letters which touch upon major conflicts and points of debate within the Fenians in the 1860s.
   Fenton (Joseph Clifford ) Diaries
Diaries of Catholic priest Joseph Clifford Fenton during the years of 1948-1966. Most deal with Fenton's trips to Rome to participate in the Second Vatican Council.
   First Vatican Council Photograph Album
This collection consists of a leather-bound album containing 30 pages of carte de visite albumen prints. This album features prints of Pope Pius IX, and 730 cardinals, patriarchs, primates, archbishops, bishops, and abbots who attended the Vatican Council I from 1869-1870.
    Iturbide-Kearny Family Collection

Original documents from the Iturbide family, including Emperor Agustin Iturbide I of Mexico. Formats   includes correspondence, Mexican governmental documents, military medals and coins,   newspapers, magazines, and portraits. 

   Jones, ('Mother' Mary Harris) Collection
Correspondence, telegrams, newspaper clippings, and published materials.

        Correspondence, clippingsm, meeting notes, publications, photographs, audio cassettes related to one   of the D.C. priests who dissented on the papal encyclical Humanae Vitea in 1968. 

  Mitchell (John) Photographic Collection

The photographs, 1898-1924, entail many portraits of important people, such as Clarence Darrow and Theodore Roosevelt, as well as significant events like the 1902 Anthracite Coal Strike. There are also photographs illustrating mining techniques of the time.
   O'Connell (Robert L.) Digital Collection
The Robert Lincoln O'Connell papers, which include letters, postcards, photographs, and publications, document the service of an Irish-American soldier who served as a combat engineer in the First Division of the American Expeditionary Force (A.E.F.) in the First World War.
   Powderly (Terence Vincent) Photographic Prints
Labor leader and civil servant Powderly was also an avid and talented amateur photographer.
   Student Army Training Corps (SATC) at Catholic University Collections
The Student Army Training Corps (SATC) was the World War I incarnation of the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC), whose college campus training programs included The Catholic University of America (CUA).

   Treasure Chest of Fun & Fact Collection
A Catholic comic book, published 1946-1972, and fondly remembered by generations of parochial school students.
   Ursuline Convent, Charlestown, Massachusetts, Collection
This collection documents the ministry of the Ursulines of Quebec in Boston area during the years 1833-1903.
   USCCB Lantern Slide Collection
A collection of slides detailing USCCB's work with veterans of the First and Second World Wars in the United States.
   Young Catholic Messenger Collection
Digitized copies of The Young Catholic Messenger, the flagship publication of the George Pflaum Publishing Company of Dayton, Ohio, 1885-1970, and distributed to the American Catholic school system.
